ATAL UTKRISHT SSGPG GOVT MODEL INTER COLLEGE PAURIKHAL running by Uttarakhand Goverment is a co-educational,English Medium,Senior Secondary School,affiliated to CBSE New Delhi.It was established in 1962 as Jawahar Lal Nehru Smarak Junior High School and is dedicated to the memory of Late Shree Govind Prasad Gairola,a founder of this school & Late Shree Indra Dutt Raturi founder principal of this school. School was upgraded as high school in1974 & Intermediate  in 1984.School was provinciallised in July 1989.
